The Last Story of Mina Lee by Nancy Jooyoun Kim

This was a wonderful read about self discovery and a fascinating dive into Korean culture (and food!).

The difficulties of an immigrant life in the USA and the tension between a parent trying their keep their old culture alive but whilst doing so becoming more and more alien to their American born child, who just wants to fit in, is expertly explored in this story.

This is simultaneously a heartwarming and heart-wrenching book in equal measure.
